Disclaimer:
Purists might argue that a White Hart is technically a white stag of the red
deer species (Cervus elaphus), or a white stag over five years in age. I am
not aware of the age of this white stag, but I can confirm that it is a
fallow deer (Cervus dama). Therefore, this photograph is sold as a photograph
of a white stag, and not explicitly as a photograph of a "white hart".
In any event, I think it's a magnificent beast with impressive antlers and
a photograph of it would compliment the wall of any British country pub
called the "White Hart".
