I can offer a range of image enhancements, from converting old prints to digital format to special effects. Image enhancement is not a precise science, and costs will depend upon the time taken to carry out the work. Typically old photographs may be enlarged, scratches and noise cleaned from the digital image, colours enhanced and even blurring reduced to produce a better, sharper, cleaner digital version which can then be printed.
More adventurous and unusual customisation of photographs is also possible as the following examples demonstrate.
Example One:
Colour photograph converted to monochrome (black and white) but with a single aspect retained in colour. Notice how the two images are the same, but in the second image everything is black and white except for the girl's pink jacket.
Example Two:
Subject removed from its original background and superimposed upon a new image. The Triumph motorcycle in the first photograph has been carefully cut out, and laid upon a new photograph of a British Union Flag, and then heading texts have been added.
Example Three:
As with example two, the subject has been removed from its original background and superimposed upon a new image. The Moto Guzzi motorcycle and rider in the first photograph has been carefully cut out, and laid upon a new photograph of an Italian Flag, and the Moto Guzzi motor company logo has been added.
